I have a couple of these, and I have had no issues except when it came to the glass on the fixture. I had to lower both of them to have a clear view. It worked great during the day, but at night, I only saw the light being around the lens from the reflection in the glass.

I was also dissapointed with the false add on the box for a sd card.

I bought two Sight Bulb they do exactly what they were stated to do. The range is excellent. The sound is excellent unless you’re too close then you get some feedback, but that’s to be expected with any electronics. The picture is awesome for the money. They were a great bargain.

I bought this and didn't know what to expect but it turns out that I love it! It's so easy to set up and use. I'll definitely be buying more in the future.

So far so good! We have the light/camera on our porch and it's nice to be able to check what is going on outside.
We have not got a Sim card so we can record/save video but we will eventually.
I really enjoy that the light can be put on a timer.

bought 4 of these cameras and could not be more pleased at the quality of the picture and the ease to set up. For the price these are great for securing the home or for other uses.

Not as sharp a picture and the voice function doesn't work. Instead of this model, get the Sight Bulb Pro which is much, much better.

finally a camera that works for me ,no extra hidden fees to pay for ,and it has motion senor and also human detection ,two way sound ..and i can turn the camera where ever i need it to be .....mine came with the supported sd card and i have been using it and it really is so nice to have
clear video and records automatically if it detects motion ...i have not tried mine at night since i dont have a outside bulb lamp so mine records from inside ,so the glass reflects to have it work for me at night

Overall, the Sightbulb WiFi Camera is a great solution for those who want to self-monitor indoor/outdoor activities. Still, its not a monitored home security system, so dont expect that level of security or peace-of-mind from it.

Full Review:

The camera is easy to operate in the app once it�s installed and connected (I�m using an iPhone 12), but it took about fifteen minutes to handle the technical side of things. The step-by-step instructions in the box are easy to follow, so there shouldn�t be a big problem getting it set up. Just take your time. Make sure you know your WiFi password because you�ll need it. You�ll be spending some time in the app settings to tweak things to your specifications.

The two-way speaker allows me to hear the neighborhood kids and tell them to get off my lawn without ever having to walk outside.

The motion detection only works in the direction it�s pointed, so if it hears something going on behind its field of vision, it won�t automatically turn to record that detection; motion detection alerts are dismal. This was a concern because it doesn�t send the motion alerts to my phone every time, and it appears as though the app must be open in the background of the phone to receive them at all. It does record and store the motion it detects as an �event� that can be reviewed, but I only received a few alerts to �live view� for the 40 or 50 events it captured. I like that it tracks movement, so it follows the person or object it has detected.

The size of my light fixture impacted its function. It�s also a big unit, so consider where you will place it. Since it�s a camera, it does have some weight to it (my regular LED light bulbs weigh 1.2oz, but this is 7oz). It�s also longer than a regular light bulb. My fixture was shorter than the bulb, so the camera was obscured at times.

I set it up in the daytime, but at nightfall, the LED light it uses for night vision reflected off the metal and glass in my fixture, so the camera was blinded at times and had to be readjusted to a position that works for both day and night.

A 64GB memory card is provided (even though the setup guide says it�s not), but it doesn�t say how to install it. Since mine is outside, I didn�t like that the memory card was so visible and could be removed so easily by anyone who pushes it.
